DRIFTWAY RESERVE

Public BBQ

Located in Pemulwuy, this on-site detention area is a serene escape ideal for morning jogs or evening strolls. The pathways are well-suited for both walkers and cyclists. A highlight for many is the diverse birdlife, with ducks, geese, turtles, and even baby birds making their appearances at various times. Families can enjoy amenities like playgrounds, basketball courts, and picnic tables, though some might find shade lacking. The lake not only adds to the beauty of the area but is also a popular backdrop for joggers and walkers. Despite the peaceful atmosphere, a few areas need improvement, such as the maintenance of the water bubblers and better parking facilities. However, with picturesque views, a tranquil atmosphere, and a hint of history, it's a cherished spot for relaxation amid suburbia.
